Miami — A recent break-in at Miami’s Hostetler Pool has resulted in a cost of more than $10,000 to the town.
“The $10,000 was $10,000 the town doesn’t have,” said Wes Sukosky, director of the Department of Public Works.
During an incident on Aug. 3, two adult males, aged 39 and 41, were injured while allegedly breaking into the pool area during the night. They attempted to climb over the chain link fencing surrounding the pool. It is believed that one of them lost his footing and grabbed an electrical wire in an effort to save himself. Both men were shocked seriously enough to result in hospitalization. For the complete article see the 08-20-2014 issue.
