Piranhas pose threat in the pool at Central AZ Championship

The Central Arizona Championship swim meet was held on July 14, 2012 and the Globe Piranhas were well represented. The Globe Piranhas place fourth overall with 351 points.

Xavier Sansores took 3rd in the Boys 8 & Under 100 yard IM; 3rd in the 25 Yard Backstroke; 6th in the 25 Yard Freestyle.

Ben Haro placed 2nd in the Boys 9-10 100 Yard IM; 6th in the 50 Yard Backstroke; 4th in the 50 Yard Breaststroke.

Rider Willis placed 7th in the Boys 7-8 25 Yard Backstroke.

Jakob Irish placed 5th in the Boys 11-12 100 Yard IM; 8th in the 100 Yard Freestyle; 5th in the 50 Yard Breaststroke.

Jacob Flores placed 3rd in the Boys 13-14 200 Yard IM; 7th in the 100 Yard Freestyle; 2nd in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.

Matthew Haro placed 5th in the Boys 13-14 100 Yard Butterfly; 3rd in the 50 Yard Freestyle;

Riley Willis placed 3rd in the Boys 15-18 100 Yard Butterfly; 6th in the 100 Yard Freestyle; 4th in the 50 Yard Freestyle.

Levi Robison placed 5th in the Boys 6 & Under 25 Yard Backstroke; 5th in the 25 Yard Breaststroke.

Devon Springer placed 7th in the Boys 9-10 50 Yard Backstroke; 5th in the 50 Yard Freestyle.

Brent Skelly placed 10th in the Boys 9-10 50 Yard Backstroke.

Logan Robison placed 5th in the Boys 11-12 50 Yard Backstroke; 3rd in the 50 Yard Freestyle.

David Monsees, placed 6th in the Boys 11-12 50 Yard Backstroke; 9th in the 50 yard Breaststroke; 4th in the 50 Yard Freestyle.

Alex Bergman placed 9th in the Boys 11-12 100 Yard Freestyle.

Angelique Ontiveros placed 11th in the Girls 7-8 25 Yard Butterfly; 12th in the 25 yard Freestyle.

Caresa Shipley, placed 6th in the Girls 11-12 100 Yard IM; 6th in the 100 Yard Freestyle; 1st in the 50 Yard Breaststroke.

Samantha Irish placed third in the Girls 9-10 50 Yard Butterfly; 8th in the 100 Yard Freestyle; 5th in the 50 Yard Freestyle.

Cloey Gillum placed 5th in the Girls 13-14 100 Yard Butterfly; 8th in the 100 Yard Freestyle.

Avrey Gillum placed 4th in the Girls 7-8 25 Yard Backstroke; 8th in the 25 Yard Breaststroke; 3rd in the 25 Yard Freestyle.

Emily Pearlman placed 8th in the Girls 7-8 25 Yard Backstroke; 8th in the 50 Yard Freestyle; 6th 25 Yard Breaststroke.

Akala Hatch placed 2nd in the Girls 9-10 50 Yard Backstroke; 3rd in the 100 Yard Freestyle; 4th in the 50 Yard Freestyle.

Jesalyn Robison placed 7th in the Girls 9-10 Yard Backstroke; 10th in the 50 Yard Freestyle.

Carley Gillum placed 13th in the Girls 9-10 50 Yard Backstroke; 14th in the 50 Yard Breaststroke; 14th in the 50 Yard Freestyle.

Kylie Foster placed 4th in the Girls 11-12 50 Yard Backstroke; 8th in the 50 Yard Breaststroke; 9th in the 50 Yard Freestyle.

Jerrica Hatch placed 7th in the Girls 13-14 100 Yard Backstroke; 7th in the 100 Yard Breaststroke; 7th in the 50 Yard Freestyle.

Angali Das placed 9th in the Girls 13-14 100 Yard Breaststroke; 8th in the 50 Yard Freestyle.

In relay events, Mackenzie Anthony, Avery Gillum, Emily Pearlman, and Angelique Ontiveros took 4th in the Girls 8 & Under 100 Yard medley. In the same event for the boys, the Globe team of Xavier Sansores, Landon Anthony, and Levi Robison also took 4th.

In the Girls 9-10 200 Yard Medley Relay, Akala Hatch, Samantha Irish, Carley Gillum, Jesalyn Robison swam for Globe. In the Boys 9-10 event, Globe representing Globe were Ben Haro, Riggs Willis, and Brent Skelly.

In the Girls 11-12 200 Yard Medley Relay, Kylie Foster, Caresa Shipley placed 1st. Swimming for the boys were Logan Robison, Jakob Irish, and Alex Bergman.

In the Girls 13-14 200 Yard Medley Relay, placing 4th were Cloey Gillum, Jerrica Hatch, and Angali Das.

Representing the Piranhas in the Boys 13-14 Yard Medley Relay were Jacob Flores and Matthew Haro.

In the Girls 8 & Under 100 Yard Freestyle Relay, the Globe team took 5th, represented by Mackenzie Anthony, Avery Gillum, Emily Pearlman, and Angelique Ontiveros. In the Boys race, the Piranhas took 4th represented by Xavier Sansores, Landon Anthony, and Levi Robison.

In the Girls 9-10 100 Yard Relay, Akala Hatch, Samantha Irish, Carley Gillum, and Jesalyn Robison placed 3rd. The boysí relay team also placed 3rd in the event, represented by Ben Haro, Riggs Willis, and Brent Skelly.

In the 11-12 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, the girls placed 3rd, represented by Caresa Shipley and Kylie Foster. The boys also took 3rd represented by Jakob Irish, Logan Robison, and Alex Bergman. The girls 13-14 relay team in the event placed 5th represented by Jerrica Hatch, Cloey Gillum, and Agali Das. The boys 13-14 team placed 3rd with Matthew Haro and Jacob Flores.
