Denesha Rodriquez took first place at San Manuel, her fourth consecutive win this season. She remains undefeated.
San Manuel — The Tiger cross country team had a great race in San Manuel last Wednesday. Temperatures were perfect for running. Despite placing near the bottom of the pack as a team, everyone improved their individual times anywhere from 30 seconds to 4 minutes. Aaron Gourdin and Noah Gardea have recovered from recent illnesses to improve their times by over 2 minutes and also by pushing Stosh Hatch to drop his time. Angelo Guevara, Jeremy Bahe, and Matthew Redondo improved times by more than 2 minutes to close the gap between the 1st and 5th place runners, which helps the team score overall.

In the girls race, Denesha Rodriguez remained undefeated with her fourth straight win. Aleia Herkenhoff continues to steadily improve her times as she gets closer to Denesha’s times. Ruby Parker and Alyssa Taylor had great showings in their first meet of the season. The team hopes to be more competitive as the season goes on. The next meet is today, Wednesday, Sept. 26, and is at home. The race will take place at the Globe Community Center by the soccer fields.
