Posted

Linda Griffin Brost, a seventh-generation Arizonan, will present the life of her grandmother, Mollie Griffin, the history of the Griffin Ranch, and ranching in Gila County for Bullion Plaza Cultural Center & Museum’s 2nd Friday program on June 9. Doors open at 6 p.m. These programs are free to the public, although donations are much appreciated.

Mollie Griffin married into a ranching family that started when the Romero family was sent from Spain in the early 1800s to what is now Arizona and Mexico. Linda will discuss what has changed and what has remained the same in the ranching industry since Griffin Cattle Ranch was established in 1923, including grazing management, branding methods, and the use of vaccines and other medications.
