The City of Globe will be opening two walk-up customer service windows to better serve residents visiting City Hall, and to limit access into the City Hall Lobby during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak.
Beginning Wednesday, April 1st at noon, visitors at City Hall will be asked to check-in at one of the two windows that look out on the porch facing Veterans Park. The visitor may select the Water Office/Information window if they have a general question or would like to pay their water bill. Anyone who would like to speak with one of the Municipal Court Clerks about a citation or has an appointment at City Hall should select the Courts/City Hall window.
Most visitors will be able to complete their business at the customer service windows, but in some instances, visitors will be asked to meet staff at the entrance and will be escorted into City Hall to complete their activities.
While the City Hall entrance will be locked and access to the lobby will be limited, City Hall staff will still offer personal, one-on-one, service and assistance to any visitors to City Hall, 8 am to 5 pm, Monday thru Friday.
We at the City of Globe must do our part to promote social distancing in order to slow the impact of COVID-19. We also retain our strong commitment to offer full time personal service to residents, customers, and visitors to City Hall. We believe the addition of walk-up customer service windows offers a solution that will allow quality customer service while protecting the health of both staff ls, and those who generate email to them, should be aware that these e-mails may be subject to public disclosure to the media and or individuals making a public records request.
