It is with great sorrow that our local public health investigators have confirmed three (3) additional deaths in Gila County that have been attributed to COVID-19. Two of these cases were associated with the RCH outbreak and had underlying health conditions. One of the cases was a resident of Payson and also had underlying health conditions. To protect the privacy of each family during this incredibly difficult time, no further information regarding these cases will be released.
Please note: We have confirmed a total of twenty-nine (29) deaths in Gila County; twenty-five (25) are non-tribal, four (4) are tribal.
