Elton E. Bryant, 87, passed away Oct. 5, 2018 at Tucson Medical Center, after a brief illness.

Elton graduated from Miami High School In 1950, after which he joined the Air Force, serving during the Koren Conflict as an airplane mechanic.

He retired from ADOT as the shop foreman after many years of service.

Elton loved working on flathead engines. He owned several 1940s and 1950s Fords and Mercurys. His hobbies were amateur radio, playing on his many computers, and woodworking. He loved listening to classic old country music and watching NASCAR.

Elton was preceded in death by his grandparents, Steve “Pa” and Myrtle Bryant; his father and mother Steve and Pearl Bryant, two grandsons, Stevie Bryant and Tommy Proctor.

He leaves behind a sister, Joan (Bernard) Collopy; a son, Ed (Chris) Bryant; daughter Sherri (Curtis) Rambo; grandson Joshua Bryant, and lifelong friend and companion Laura Bryant.

There will be no services per Elton’s request. Donations can be made in his honor to your favorite charity.
