Gila County Sheriff J. Adam Shepherd has released the following information on the arrest of 20-year-old Jonathan Michael Wagner, of Globe.
On Tuesday, Aug. 21, deputies with the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau responded to a report of a child molestation at a home in Southern Gila County.
During the investigation, the Sheriff’s Office, Gila County Attorney’s Office and Arizona Child Help obtained information leading to Wagner’s arrest.
Wagner was booked into Gila County Jail on four counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and two counts of child molestation.
The investigation continues, and more information may be released as it becomes available.
Sheriff Shepherd thanked the County Attorney’s Office and Arizona Child Help for their collaborative efforts in the investigation.
