Robert Franklin Kelley passed away peacefully on Feb. 28, 2023 at the Haven Care Center in Globe, Arizona. “Irish Bob,” as he was known to his friends, was born in Ray, Arizona on Dec. 20, 1935. He met his beloved wife Rita Fortin later in life and married her in 1992. They had both served in the military. Bob and Rita lived in Miami, Arizona for a while and eventually moved to Globe, where she passed away.
Bob is survived by his son Dale Kelley (Vicki), grandson Shaun Kelley (Clare) and one great-granddaughter.
A celebration of life will be held in his memory on March 17, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel at 1701 Ensign Dr. in Globe. In lieu of flowers, please donate to his death expenses. Thank you to all his many friends who have loved and supported him for many years.
