Roy McCormack passed away on May 1 in Gilbert, Arizona. Roy was born in Calico Rock, Arkansas on Jan. 17, 1939, to Donan and Thelma McCormack. As a teenager he accepted Christ as his Savior at a tent revival in Harrison, Arkansas. In obedience and symbolizing his Christian faith, he was baptized at Trinity Baptist Church in Globe, Arizona at the age of 75. Roy served in the US Army, was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers LU 518 and was a Master Mason and member of the White Mountain Chapter of the Masonic Lodge in Globe. Roy retired from the Central Arizona Project in 2005, and he and his wife Bonnie retired to Globe. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman.

Roy loved and was dearly loved by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Bonnie in 2017, and his daughter Debby Bonnie (husband James Bonnie) in 1996. He is survived by his brother James McCormack (wife Marybeth), his children William (Bill) McCormack, Donnie Mc- Cormack (wife Cindy), Michael Sellars (husband Mike Molzen) and Susan Brevik (husband David), his 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Services were held on Saturday, May 7 at 11 a.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church, 1362 S. Hagen Rd., Globe, Arizona.

Final interment will be at the South Lawn Cemetery in Tucson, Arizona.
